Jenn took me to an English department party last night at a professor's house.

I had mixed feelings going into this. On the one hand, it was probably going to be a bunch of people who are way smarter than me standing around talking about things I don't understand. On the other hand, I saw Wonder Boys, and that party looked really cool and intellectual.

It ended up being somewhere in between. I didn't really know anybody besides the couple we came with, but Jenn didn't abandon me or anything, so it was a pretty good time.

The best part is: I'm pretty sure my sexy film professor winked at me. Take that, future Mrs. Professor McHotHot!
