I ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut today.

I only mention this because the reason I did so was to get a free DVD. "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey", to be exact.

I haven't seen this movie in 12 years, and it's much better than I remember it being, in that cheesy '80s comedy kind of way. Casting George Carlin as Rufus was a stroke of genius - when the archetypal '80s badguy growls at him, "Time will tell," he replies, "Time has told," in the most ridiculously nonchalant fashion. Brilliant.

I thought the deal was too good to be true, as the pizza cost less than the DVD probably would have. It isn't, I found out, a very full-featured DVD. In fact, there are about 10 minutes of unskippable previews, which means 20 seconds of fast-forwarding at 30 times normal speed.

The best part, though, is the menu screen, which contains only two options. The first is "Play movie with no subtitles". The second is "Play movie with Español subtitles".

Bill nor Ted couldn't have said it better themselves.
