I feel like maybe it's exaggerating a bit to say that the Fourth of July weekend is the highlight of my year, but hot damn was it fun. Props to this guy.

Summer on a college campus is the time of year when the young, naive freshmen have left for home, only to be replaced by younger, more naive (and usually even nerdier) high school students. You can only avoid the math-campers and dramat larvae for so long around here, especially once they discover Sree's.

I did notice that some of the high schoolers are still being taught by my favorite professor of all time, who has been slowly going blind over the last three or four years. He's got the cane and the glasses now, but he's either got enough sight left to teach or he just knows his lectures that well. It had always saddened me to think that he would have to stop teaching at such a young age, and it's inspiring to see that he hasn't yet.
