A couple of days ago, I had the following strange thought in the morning:

"You know, Special K is actually really pretty tasty."

I could almost literally feel my youth slipping through my fingers.

The next night, my eyes jerked open with the thought of where I might be - what huge life-changing events I may have undergone or be about to undergo - a year from now. One year!

Ayne was asking me about my plans for the future. "I'm not really planning that far in advance," I told her. Well, why not? she asked. A year's not that far off.

"Because it's scary!" I whined.

Not that I'm not looking forward to it. People have different theories about what I'll end up doing, but they all seem to agree that whatever it is, I'll like it.

But still. It's scary.
