This weekend's lesson: If you want to impress your friends with relatively little effort, make quiche.

Quiche is pretty damn easy to make - beat some eggs, put some cheese in there, put some spinach and onions in there, pop it in the oven. Honestly, the hardest part was cutting up the onion.

And yet, when my wedding-bound friends stopped by for brunch on Saturday, they were amazed. "You made quiche?"

I should have people over more often, not only because it's apparently very easy to blow their minds with my meager culinary skills, but because it forces me to clean my apartment.
