Well, the window guys didn't steal anything, and they were still working on other apartments when I got home, so my fears were unfounded.

However, they were using a rather aggressive technique to remove the old windows. I'm not saying I know anything about window removal, or that I have a specific suggestion for a better way to do it, but it seems like there has to be some method that doesn't result in broken glass raining down on the sidewalk below.

And just in time for a bunch of people wearing open-toed shoes to come over to my apartment for brunch tomorrow!
