Today, March 14th, is "Pi Day". (3/14... 3.14. Got it?) Here at CMU, the Geek Los Angeles to MIT's Geek New York, many await this day with nigh-orgasmic anticipation. Starting at Wean Hall, the font of all geekness, they scrawl the digits of pi along all the sidewalks, accompanied with pro-pi slogans and other comments on the various digits. They make sure to put a little smiley face any time the number "42" occurs, because hell, if something is funny when a British author writes it in a book, it must be uproariously hilarious the 35278907158902th time some mouth-breather cites it. Furthermore, you know they've memorized all those digits. It's worse this year. How could it be worse? Somebody came by and corrected it.
