Whee!

For the last two days, me and five of my co-workers have been trying to deal with some crazy problems in our code by making sure that it's somebody else's fault.

We've just been passing the buck around in a circle, at the speed of e-mail. As the deadline gets closer and closer, the e-mails get terser and terser. For example:

I tried that. Still getting the same error message.

This is the kind of stuff I thought only happened in the "real world". To stretch the farming analogy, this is like if a farmer had an angry customer complaining to him that the food was cold.

Incidentally, this is a total long shot, but if any of you know anything about programming Windows device drivers, I'd like to pick your brain for a personal project I'm working on.
