Today was, I suppose, my first day of grad school.

I don't actually know what my project will be yet.

See, the way it works is, each of us filled out a sheet with the top 3 people we would want to have in our group. They took the 5 people who got the most votes and made them the "team captains" (my term, not theirs), and they had a sort of "draft" after class wherein they picked their teams. The teams haven't been sent out yet.

Katie, my co-TA, was one of the captains. I didn't really have a chance, never having worked in a group with any of the Masters' students, nor really with any of the accelerated undergrads. I hope I get picked for a good team.

I feel like I'm playing kickball.
