Last night I went with Jenn and Katie to the Greek food festival held every year at the Greek Orthodox church two blocks from my apartment.

The Greek food festival is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it's Greek food, which I haven't had much of since coming to college, and especially since Suzie's in Squirell Hill closed down. On the other hand, it reminds me that there's a Greek Orthodox church two blocks from my apartment which I never go to.

Guilt aside, the festival is something we definitely look forward to every year. Greek food is one of a few foods which, like pierogies, is the best when it's homemade, but is almost as good when it's made in a church basement.
