Well, much to Jenn's dismay, this past weekend was the weekend that Atom and His Package played at CMU. For free.

Because getting so much enjoyment for free offends my sense of capitalism, and because I knew Jenn would be disappointed that she missed the show, I bought a CD from the guy after the show. Helping independent artists is hip, boys and girls.

What was in some ways even cooler was the opening band, which consisted of a drummer, a bassist, and a guy playing synth effects from, of all things, a tricked-out Gameboy.
