I received an e-mail from the guy who took over as my supervisor this past summer after my boss left.

The paper we wrote, on which I'm officially the first author, has been accepted for the robotics conference we submitted it to.

This means that I'm now officially published.

One of Jenn's short stories was recently accepted, a year after she submitted it, by a journal she doesn't remember submitting it to.

So she was published first. I don't feel so bad now.
