My parents were in town this weekend, which I say with enthusiasm rather than dread. I've always gotten along well with my parents, and now that I'm old enough not to be embarassed by my dad's sense of humor, I've realized that he really is one of the funniest people I know.

In addition to gorging ourselves whilst scouting potential rehearsal dinner locations, we headed downtown to Point State Park, as we do every year. I'm sure this is true for most people who have been living in a city for a while, but if it weren't for people visiting me, I don't think I would ever do "Pittsburgh things", like going to Pirates games and such.
