Last week I did some calculations at work and figured out that, in order for the simulator I'm building to appear the appropriate size, the driver's seat needs to be 57.6 inches away from the screen.

Today I brought in my tape measure in order to measure this out.

There's a little diamond on my tape measure at 57.6 inches. Am I missing something, or is that really weird?

The tape measure also has a belt clip on the back, which is fortunate. I don't bring much to work, usually just my lunch in a bag, and when it's a nice day like today, I don't even have a jacket with pockets. So the belt clip was really convenient. In fact, I think everything should have a belt clip on the back. I could come in to work with my tape measure, my cell phone, and my lunch bag all clipped to my belt.

One step closer to Batman, and that's never a bad thing.
