Prof. J is out of town for our program's weekly seminar this week, so she has me taking attendance for her.

This makes me feel like a giant dork. Even more so than being a TA. Even more so than being mistaken for a Robotics Ph.D. I mean, even Jenn called me a teacher's pet.

Today, on the way to school, I could have stolen a manhole. Not a manhole cover, mind you, but an entire manhole, which was just sitting on the sidewalk, waiting for someone to come along and jack it. How freaking surreal is that?
